WARREN, Ohio -

The Supreme Court of Ohio declined to hear the appeal of a Warren man convicted of smashing the windows of the Trumbull County Children Services building in 2022.

According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, the Supreme Court of Ohio declined to accept jurisdiction in the appeal of Jeremy Feidler, who was convicted of aggravated vandalism and aggravated menacing in October of 2023.

Feidler is serving a 30-month prison sentence on those charges.

The charges stem from an incident in August of 2022 when Feidler smashed the glass door and windows of the Trumbull County Children Services office causing $6,000 in damages.

Trumbull County Children Services Executive Director Timothy Shaffer previously told 21 News a receptionist locked the front door and Feidler began hitting the glass with a bat 10 to 15 times.
