St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall moving locations beginning September 27

The St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall in Mahoning County is moving to a new location beginning September 30.

Staff and volunteers will begin transitioning from the current location at the former St. Cyril and Methodius Church on Wood Street to the new dining hall at the Broadway Community Campus at 430 Williamson Avenue on September 27.

Meal services will continue at the current location on Wood Street through Friday and then pause until Monday.

The new facility at Williamson and South Avenues is bigger than previous dining hall locations, allowing for better accessibility and space for volunteers and guests.

This isn't the first time that the St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall has had to relocate. Back in 2017, structural issues led to a surprise closure of the dining hall on Front Street. 

The St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall serves more than 36,000 hot meals to guests each year.
