A recall has been issued on children's jewelry sets sold on Amazon due to high levels of lead and cadmium being found in the products.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recall involves children's jewelry sets by Newmemo. The products were sold exclusively on Amazon between January of 2022 and March of 2024 for about $12.

The recalled products were sold in a pack of 36 rings in a pink heart-shaped case. "Newmemo” and “Amazon FNSKU X0034COQMP” are written on a white label on the underside of the case.

If ingested by young children, lead and cadmium could cause adverse health effects. No illnesses or injuries related to the product have been reported at this time.
