Youngstown City Council approved Wednesday spending $5.97 million in American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds for park improvements throughout the city. The funds will be used to rehabilitate and upgrade several parks, including Homestead Park, Crandall Park, Lynn Park, Roy Street Park, and others.
The proposed legislation authorizes the Board of Control to advertise for bids and award contracts to the lowest and best bidders responsible for the projects.
