Walk-in mammogram hours extended at Columbiana imaging center

As Breast Cancer Awareness Month continues, a Columbiana County medical is extending their hours for walk-in mammogram services. 

Expanded walk-in hours for 3D mammograms will be offered October 10 at ARC Medical Imaging in Columbiana. 

ARC is located on the ground floor of the SRMC Surgery and Outpatient Pavilion at Firestone Farms at 400 Town Center Avenue. 

No physician order is needed for the walk-ins, which will be offered from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

3D mammograms provide sharper images, leading to better and earlier detection of breast abnormalities. 

The 3D mammography technology at ARC Medical Imaging in Columbiana is accredited by the American College of Radiology, which is the gold standard for facilities providing the highest level of image quality and safety.
