A Warren man suspected of shooting a 42-year-old city man at his home early Wednesday remains jailed after pleading not guilty to a charge of felonious assault.
Twenty-five-year-old Juvar King of Third Street was arrested after police say they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside his Fourth St. SW home at around 8 a.m.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of what the police described as a “major” wound to the abdomen. No update was available on the victim’s condition on Thursday.
During a video arraignment, a judge ordered that King remain in the Trumbull County Jail due to “substantial risk of harm and flight.”
The report does not give the motive behind the shooting.
Another court hearing for King is scheduled on October 24.
