Drugs seized in lengthy drug trafficking investigation in Warren

A search warrant was served by the Trumbull County Sheriff's Department in Warren on Friday in the 1900 block of South Feederle Drive SE.

This search warrant was obtained after a lengthy drug trafficking investigation. 

Agents seized 71.5 grams of methamphetamine, 21.4 grams of crack cocaine, 14.9 grams of fentanyl, approximately $1,200 in U.S. currency and two handguns.

One of these handguns was loaded and had a full-automatic conversion kit, which turns a semi-automatic gun into a fully automatic handgun. 

Drug related charges are expected to be filed, along with weapons charges against two suspects. The names of these suspects have not been released at this time. 

The Trumbull County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Brookfield Township Police Department and the Howland Township Police Department. This case will be turned over to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office.
