A cannabis product sold at a Hubbard adult-use cannabis dispensary has been recalled due to a lack of child-resistant packaging.

According to the Ohio Department of Commerce's Division of Cannabis Control (DCC), a Class II recall has been issued for various strains of Paragon Premium Cannabis products.

These products were sold at a number of dispensaries throughout Ohio including ACA Dispensary in Hubbard.

The following stands are affected by this recall:

The DCC says the recall was issued after a customer pointed out that the product didn't appear to have proper child resistant packaging. The DCC investigated and confirmed the cultivator was not able to produce documentation certifying the packaging is compliant poison prevention packaging standards.

No adverse events involving the recalled products have been reported at this time. If you or someone you know experiences adverse health effects from a recalled product, you're asked to call your health care provider immediately and report the event to the DCC at 1-833-464-6627.

If you purchased a recalled product, you're asked to return it to the place of purchase for a refund, or otherwise store the product in a child resistant package that is out of the reach of children.
