Mahoning County to auction off surplus vehicles, equipment in November

If you have ever wanted to own a highway painting truck, now may be your chance. 

Mahoning County will be auctioning off surplus vehicles and equipment. A list of some of the items up for bidding includes:

• Dump trucks
• Ford Explorer Police Interceptor SUVs
• Cars
• Snow plows
• A 2000 GMC T8500 Highway Painting Truck
• And much more!

There are several days that bidders can preview items for auction: November 1 from noon to 3 p.m., and November 6 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

Three buses that are being auctioned are at a separate location, and can only be viewed on November 6. The address for the bus viewing can be found on the auction website. 

A 1964 CAT 12E grader is also available for bids, but needs an appointment to be viewed as it is at a separate location. To make an appointment, bidders can call 330-533-4071.

Bidders can go online to the auction website to place their bid. 

The auction will close on November 7 at noon.
