Two transported to hospital after collision with a tractor trailer in downtown Youngstown

 Youngstown Police and emergency crews are on the scene of a vehicle under a semi-tractor-trailer in Youngstown Thursday morning.

The accident at the corner of West Commerce Street and Belmont Avenue, just west of Fifth Avenue, happened around 9:20 am Thursday. 

After using the jaws of life to extract the occupants of the car, two people inside the vehicle were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash is under investigation by the Youngstown Police Department.
