Power outage cancels YSU women's opener; men's game postponed

Due to a power outage affecting multiple buildings on the Youngstown State University campus, the YSU women's basketball season opener against North Dakota has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

The men's opener against Westminster that was scheduled to follow as part of a doubleheader has been postponed. More information will be announced.

The lights in Zidian Family Arena at Beeghly Center went out around 5 p.m., approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the women's game.

Ticket information will be released in the near future.
