Robb Blasdel reelected as State Rep. for Ohio's 79th District

Incumbent Monica Robb Blasdel (R) faced off against Dan Votaw (D) for the Ohio House of Representatives District 79, which includes parts of Columbiana and Carroll counties.

Voters selected Robb Blasdel with 40,928 votes over Votaw, with 13,972 votes.

Robb Blasdel assumed office in 2023, taking over the remainder of the term from former State Representative Al Cutrona, who is took over as state senator for the 33rd District. She is a lifelong resident of Columbiana County and lives in the village of Columbiana. She graduated from Crestview School District.

Votaw is a teacher with the Lisbon School District for forty years and lives in Leetonia. He has also served for eight years on the Leetonia School Board.
