The United Way of Youngstown received a donation from one of its local partners to commemorate their 10th anniversary.
Valley marketing agency 898 Marketing commemorated its 10th anniversary by presenting a $10,000 check to the United Way of Youngstown and Mahoning Valley.
898 Marketing Director of Operations Cailyn Chrystal tells 21 News this is a way to give back to United Way who she says has been a great partner over the past decade.
"Our mission at 898 is that we're called to serve, so we thought this was the perfect way to give back to our community and the people in our community," Chrystal said.
898 President and CEO Jeff Ryznar told 21 News the agency has a long history with the United Way and has helped them with many events over the years.
"Whether it's the workplace giving campaign, the numerous events that they hold, the opportunities to donate time with the Day of Service or Women's United or mentoring, it's just a really good foundation and opportunity to give back to our community and to make it home," Ryznar said.
898 continued its volunteer work with the United Way Tuesday morning packing hygiene kits.
