Youngstown State University's University Theatre is continuing its 2024-25 season following "On the Verge" with "Pete the Penguin's Vintage Variety Show: A Musical Comedy Extravaganza".

This show was written by University Theatre lecturer Adam Howard and features two acts with musical performances, a live band, and "laugh-out-loud" humor.

A brief synopsis of the show explains the following:

"This unique production follows a group of musical theatre students as they embark on a hilarious journey to modernize a hopelessly outdated script for a vaudeville-style performance. With the pressure of real-time updates, the students infuse the show with a 21st-century flair while navigating mishaps and madcap moments."

Performances will be November 22 at 7:30 p.m., November 23 at 7:30 p.m. and November 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ford Theatre located in Bliss Hall on YSU's campus.
