Several groups banding together for "Can the Cruiser" food drive in Trumbull County

To benefit local food pantries, the Bazetta Police and Fire Department, Howland Police and Fire Department, Champion Police and Fire Department, Niles Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol are partnering together to host the annual "Can the Cruiser" food drive. 

The "Can the Cruiser" drive will be held November 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at four locations around Trumbull County. 

Accepted items include food products and monetary donations.

 

The Bazetta Police and Fire Departments & Ohio State Highway Patrol

Walmart - 2016 Millennium Blvd, Cortland, OH 44410

The donations collected at this location will be given to Cortland Area Cares, serving the Lakeview School District, and other qualifying members of supporting area churches. 

 

The Howland Police and Fire Departments & Ohio State Highway Patrol

Giant Eagle - 8202 E Market St, Warren, OH 44484

The donations collected at this location will be given to the Bolindale Christian Church and Howland Community Church food banks. 

 

The Champion Police and Fire Departments & Ohio State Highway Patrol

Klingemier Sparkle Market - 5634 Mahoning Avenue Warren, Ohio 44483

The donations collected at this location will be given to the Champion Pride Council, serving Champion Township and Champion School District. 

 

The Niles Police Department & Ohio State Highway Patrol

Giant Eagle - 48 Vienna Ave, Niles, OH 44446

The donations collected at this location will be given to Niles Community Services, serving Niles, Weathersfield and McDonald.
