The eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 are closed in Mercer County due to a tractor trailer crash.

The interstate is closed between Exit 4 at Sharon/Hermitage to Exit 15 in Mercer.

PennDOT says the road is expected to reopen later today when the scene is cleared.

A speed reduction of 45 mph, with commercial vehicles in the right lane only, remains in place on both directions of Interstate 80 from the Ohio state line to Exit 45.  A speed reduction is also in place on Interstate 79 from Slippery Rock to Edinboro.
