Two former valley football players named to National High School Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025
Two high school football players with valley ties are entering the National High School Football Hall of Fame.
Salem's Bob Sebo & Hickory's Andre Coleman were named as part of the Class of 2025 in Canton this morning.
Sebo, a 1954 graduate was a three year letter winner for the Quakers. He started every game his sophomore and junior seasons, but an injury kept him out of the majority of his senior year.
Even with that injury Sebo rushed for more than 400 yards and had more than 600 all purpose yards.
Coleman, a 1989 graduate of Hickory helped the Hornets win the state championship in 1989, rushing for 246 yards and four touchdowns and was named the Class 2A Player of the Year. In two seasons with the Hornets, he rushed for 3,710 yards and 68 touchdowns.
The induction ceremony is in June 14, at Zimmerman's Symphony Center.
The National High School Football Hall of Fame is located in Canton, Ohio.
