A pair of single-vehicle accidents snarled traffic on State Route 5 in Warren Township Sunday afternoon.  The Warren Township Fire Department responded to the first incident at 2:41 PM on the westbound side of the highway.

Crews found a sport utility vehicle tangled in the median cable barriers.  The occupants were removed from the SUV, examined by medical personnel, and released with no reported injuries.  Westbound traffic on S.R. 5/82 was reduced to one lane while crews worked to clear the scene.

After clearing the initial accident scene at 3:40 PM, Warren Township firefighters encountered a second single-vehicle crash on the eastbound side of State Route 5 while returning to their station.  No injuries were reported in this second incident either.
