Boardman Subaru is teaming up with Operation Warm, a national nonprofit that provides brand-new winter coats and shoes to children in need, to distribute 300 coats in the Youngstown area.

300 brand-new coats will be given to children at the United Way of Youngstown and The Mahoning Valley in Youngstown.

Subaru employee volunteers will assist children in selecting and fitting new coats in their favorite colors, creating a personalized shopping experience.

Boardman Subaru's donation is part of the Subaru Loves to Help Initiative, a national program led by Subaru of America that aims to provide comfort, hope and support to children and adults facing homelessness and urgent needs.

The initiative is joined by more than 630 Subaru retailers nationwide.

The Operation Warm partnership and Subaru Loves to Help will assist more than 900,000 children and adults in urgent need.
