Canfield man, 26, indicted in child pornography case

A 26-year-old Canfield man is being ordered to appear in court to answer a multi-count child pornography indictment.

The Mahoning County Grand Jury on Thursday handed up an indictment charging Matthias Merrit Lewis with five felony counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.

According to the indictment, Lewis allegedly had material showing a child involved in sexual activity on November 8.

An arrest warrant has been submitted to the Sheriff’s Office and the County Prosecutor.
