PennDOT restores speed on Mercer, Venango County interstates
As of 1:20 p.m. Thursday, all speeds have been restored to the normal posted speed limits.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has temporarily reduced the speed limit on Interstates 79, 80, and 376 in Mercer and Venango counties.
Due to the winter weather conditions, speeds were reduced to 45 mph on the following highways:
I-79 from Exit 113 (Route 208/258, Grove City) to Exit 130 (Route 358, Greenville/Sandy Lake).
I-80 from the Ohio State Line to Exit 42 (Route 38, Emlenton).
I-376 from the I-80 interchange to Exit 2 (Route 18, West Middlesex)
As of 1:20 p.m. Thursday, all speeds have been restored to the normal posted speed limits.
