Crews removing trees on I-680 near Midlothian Boulevard to install noise barriers
Marsch tells 21 News work on the foundation of the noise barriers is expected to begin in the spring, and the barriers are expected to be filly installed by the fall of 2025.

Crews with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) are currently working on removing trees from a stretch of I-680 in order to install noise barriers.
Representative for ODOT District 4 Ray Marsch told 21 News crews have been out on I-680 eastbound all throughout this week removing trees near the Midlothian exit in order to install noise barriers to reduce traffic noise for those who live along the stretch.
Looking ahead, Marsch tells 21 News work on the foundation of the noise barriers is expected to begin in the spring, and the barriers are expected to be filly installed by the fall of 2025.
This project will cost $4 million.
