Failed brakes cause car to crash into house in Boardman

A car crashed into a house in Boardman Wednesday around 8:35 a.m.

The vehicle was driving in the 4000 block of Hopkins Road in the city when the brakes on the car went out, causing minor damage to the home.

The driver of the car was transported to the hospital with minor injuries to their ankle.

Boardman Police are investigating the crash.
