Rotary Club of Warren installing Peace Pole at Courthouse Square Wednesday

The Rotary Club of Warren is installing a new landmark at Courthouse Square Wednesday afternoon.

According to the release, the Rotary's Peace Building Committee will hold a ceremony placing a Peace Pole at Courthouse Square near the fountain.

The Peace Pole is a monument that includes the message "May Peace Prevail On Earth" in the language of the country where it is placed and usually includes 3-7 other languages connected to the area.

The ceremony will be held at 12:30 p.m. and feature speakers from the City of Warren, Rotary President Cindy Matheson and members of the Rotary Club of Warren's Peace Building Committee.
