Youngstown State University is mourning after the death of a professor at the university.
YSU has issued a statement mourning the loss of marketing professor Dr. Peter Reday who died after suffering a medical emergency on Tuesday, April 22.
According to YSU's website, Dr. Reday completed his PhD in International Industrial Sales Management at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Since then he's taught at a university level for more than 17 years.
In addition to being a professor, Dr. Reday was a husband, father and veteran.
The university's flag on the campus's peace pole will be flown at half mast for three days in his honor beginning Thursday, April 25.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, students, and colleagues during this difficult time," YSU's statement reads.
