Seniors at Hubbard High School dedicated their morning to help beautify their community with the Senior Day of Service on Monday.
Groups of students visited multiple landmarks throughout Hubbard like local parks, downtown areas and the fire station to beautify the community by raking leaves, picking up trash and washing fire trucks.
Hubbard High School math teacher Andrea Stamp tells 21 News this is the school's fourth year of doing this with the event acting as a way for students to give back to their community.
"[We hope the students] see the advantage of supporting the community. It's a fun day for them, but it also helps them give a little bit back," Stamp said.
Stamp added that some students have gone on to help out in their community even more in the days following this event.
