Two-vehicle crash in Salineville seriously injures adult, child

An adult and a child were seriously injured during a two-vehicle crash in Salineville.

The crash, involving a car and an SUV, occurred just after 8:30 p.m. Monday along East Main Street near the car wash.

One of the vehicles rolled down an embankment.

State Troopers say a child was flown by medical helicopter to Akron Children’s Hospital in Boardman.  A woman was taken to Mercy Hospital. 

Both victims are said to be in stable condition. The names of the victims were not immediately available.
