A three-and-a-half-mile-long stretch of Route 82 reopened early Thursday following a ten hour closure overnight.
Authorities say a car struck a utility pole along Route 82 at 8:30 p.m. bringing down wires between Route 534 and Route 5, closing that section of Route 82.
One person was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The wires were removed after 6:30 a.m. and the road is now open.
