An employee at a fast food restaurant in Warren called police after a customer came into the restaurant actively bleeding following an alleged robbery.
According to a police report, officers were called to an Arby's restaurant for a man bleeding inside. Police spoke to the man who told officers that a suspect approached him near Nevada Avenue NW, brandished a knife and demanded the victim's wallet.
Police say the suspect slashed at the man's face with a knife, but he covered his face with his left arm to defend himself resulting in a cut on his wrist. The report described the wound as severe stating that it required stitches.
From there, police say the man gave the suspect some money and credit cards and the suspect fled. It is unknown how much money the man gave the suspect, but the man told police the suspect was "very serious" about getting the money.
Police say the man did not call police following the incident and instead went to Arby's to get food. It wasn't until an employee noticed the man's wound that police were called.
The man was taken to the hospital to get treated for his injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
