Multi-car pile up in Boardman sends 2 to the hospital

Crews with the Boardman Township Police and Fire Departments responded to a multi-car pile up on Route 224 Friday afternoon.

State Troopers confirmed with 21 News there were at least four cars involved in the crash.

Two were sent to the hospital with minor injuries.

This accident caused the westbound lanes to be closed and traffic that goes back towards 680.

Both lanes have since been reopened.
