A three-vehicle accident at a rain-drenched intersection sent two people to the hospital Sunday night, according to authorities.
Youngstown fire rescue and ambulance crews, along with Youngstown police, were dispatched to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Superior Street at 9:46 p.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The severity of the injuries sustained by the two people transported to the hospital was not immediately known.
Crews had to clean up debris before the intersection could be reopened.
