A Warren-based company has secured a $25,000 grant from JobsOhio for upgrades to its facility.
Buckeye Precision Threads Inc., a specialty grinding operation serving the advanced manufacturing sector, received a $25,000 Small Business Grant to support facility upgrades to the company's new location in Warren.
These upgrades will enhance the company's ability to meet growing customer demand and pursue innovation in precision machining. The funding will be used to boost production capacity and enable the company to better serve customers in high-precision markets like lead screws, molds, taps and worms.
Buckeye Precision threads was formerly known as Jewelers Machinist Company from Long Island New York, but rebranded after relocating to Ohio.
The JobsOhio Small Business Grant is designed to fuel the growth of eligible businesses by supporting fixed asset investments, workforce expansion and operational improvements critical to long-term success.
"Helping small businesses grow through access to critical funding is one of our top priorities. This grant helps Buckeye Precision Threads make important upgrades that will support their operations and long-term success in Warren," said Lake to River Director of Project Management David Wilaj.
