Part of Vindicator Square was closed in downtown Youngstown as crews installed new signs on the WesBanco clock tower.
Monday's work included taking down half of the sign. The construction crew plans to take the rest of it down on Tuesday.
The tower originally donned the Home Savings name after its construction in 1919.
The signage changed in 2020 to Premier Bank after a merger with Home Savings.
In July 2024, Premier announced plans to merge with WesBanco. The merger was finalized this year, leading to another facelift for the building.
The work on the iconic clock tower is set to continue through Saturday, May 10.
