The installation process is continuing for the installation of the WesBanco sign on the clock tower in downtown Youngstown.
21 News reported on Monday that work began to take down the Premier Bank sign on the clock tower with the first half being taken down then and the second half to be taken down Tuesday.
Now, our 21 News crew captured the new WesBanco sign going up on the tower in preparation for Premier Bank rebranding to WesBanco following a merger.
Work on the tower is expected to continue until Saturday, May 10.
The tower originally donned the Home Savings name after its construction in 1919. This changed to Premier Bank in 2020 following a merger with Home Savings.
