Austintown voters approve of renewal levy for current expenses

Austintown has decided on a renewal levy on current expenses to fund the day-to-day operations of the township.

Voters in the township voted yes to the renewal levy worth up to $600k.

The votes in favor of the renewal totaled at 1,281 compared to the oppositions votes at 1007, putting them at 56% to 44% respectively.
