Cardinal Mooney High School will have a new principal next school year.
Youngstown Bishop David Bonnar has approved and appointed Brendan Considine as the new principal of Cardinal Mooney High School. His first day will be July 1.
Considine will be joining President Nick Beyer as principal. Beyer will remain as president.
Currently, Considine serves as Executive Director of Montessori School of the Mahoning Valley. He previously served as the Supervisor and Assistant Principal at the Rich Center for Autism and served as an adjunct faculty member at Youngstown State University.
"Mr. Considine impressed the committee with his intelligence, thoughtfulness and expertise in methods of teaching and learning," said Cardinal Mooney Superintendent Steven Jones.
Considine says he's excited to join the Cardinal Mooney community.
"I have a great respect for this school and look forward to being a part of the support and guidance of all of our students, families, teachers and faith community," Considine said.
