Newton Falls resident indicted as alleged part of 19-member drug trafficking ring

The United States Attorney's Office of the Northern District of Ohio has released a list of individuals indicted in connection to a Cleveland drug trafficking ring - included a Newton Falls resident.

Jocelyn Dolan, 22, of Newton Falls was indicted alongside 18 others as part of a 29-count indictment.

According to court documents, from October 2023 to December 2024, the defendants in the case allegedly trafficked various controlled substances but mostly dealt cocaine.

The release states that although the ring was based in Cleveland, it operated throughout Northeast Ohio and as far away as Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

According to the release, their operations included attempts to infiltrate the Ohio prison system.

Throughout the investigation, authorities seized thousand of dollars in cash and a number of illegal drugs that included cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl according to the release.

If convicted, each defendant's sentence will be determined by the Court after reviewing case facts, any prior criminal records and their role, if any, in the offense.
