Liberty Police have issued another arrest warrant for Youngstown mayoral candidate John White after being arrested following a domestic dispute.

On Friday, May 2, an incident occurred in White's house in which police were called.

According to the police report, White found out that he was not eligible to run for mayor in Youngstown and became irate when the offer he made to a family member to run in his place was declined.

From there, the report states that White allegedly went around the house breaking and throwing things including a crock pot which went out the window after being thrown towards one of White's family members.

The police report also claims White went into his car and began tearing up the yard with his tires and kept his family member at the house by throwing their keys on the roof of the garage.

Police would eventually get to the scene where White was questioned about the events going on at the house. White dismissed the claims of violence or that he threw his family members' phone from their hands as they were calling the police.

Police arrested and booked White before releasing him the same day.

As of now, the reason for this secondary arrest warrant are not clear. 21 News will be following this story up as updates and information come to light.
