Mahoning Valley Young Professionals (MVYP) celebrated its 16th annual 25 Under 35 awards at The Lake Club in Poland on Wednesday with one of the honorees being one of our very own.
21 News 6 p.m. Anchor Madison Tromler was among those honored at the award ceremony, which according to MVYP's website celebrated the rising stars who are shaping the future of business, community impact and innovation.
Tromler has expressed her gratitude to MVYP for this honor.
"Every day, I get to share people's stories, highlight important issues and connect with the Valley in a way that constantly reminds me why I love what I do. Thank you, Mahoning Valley Young Professionals, for inspiring young people like me to keep evolving and striving for success," Tromler said.
Tromler says she chose to get into the journalism field because she wanted a career that would challenge her, keep her on her toes and never feel stagnant.
"I've always loved to write and create, but I also crave momentum. I'm energized by the rush of a deadline, the intensity of chasing a story and the reward of turning chaos into clarity," Tromler said.
Madison says she hopes to inspire others in her community by showing that it's possible to lead with heart, stay curious and never lose sight of why journalists do what they do.
"I want to be a reminder that telling the truth, asking deeper questions and staying grounded in authenticity can coexist with ambition. Whether I'm reporting, creating something or connecting with others, I hope to encourage people to chase purpose over perfection, to keep growing even in uncertainty and to use their voice in a way that makes others feel understood and empowered," Tromler said.
