Norfolk Southern's restoration work at the train derailment site in East Palestine could finish up soon.
According to the Norfolk Southern restoration website, site restoration is "anticipated to be substantially complete by early or mid-June."
The site work continues as weather conditions allow and air monitoring will be reduced as activity winds down.
Taggart Street is open to traffic but there could be periodic equipment and vehicles on the road there.
Monitoring of surface water, groundwater and drinking water wells are ongoing. Sampling is also being done in the East End wetland water and sediment.
The reassessment of Sulphur and Leslie Run is also finished and the data will be assessed.
