Tickets on sale this week for Alice Cooper Youngstown show

Alice Cooper is scheduled to take the stage of The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre this summer.

The August 17, 2025, concert is part of the "Too Close for Comfort Tour 2025."

Cooper, known for his theatrical hard rock performances, is scheduled to bring his stage show to Youngstown for an evening of music. His performances often incorporate elements of horror movies and vaudeville.

Presale tickets will be available starting Thursday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with the password "POISON." Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 16, at 10 a.m.

Ticket prices range from $39.50 to $125.00.

Cooper, born in Detroit and later moving to Phoenix, formed his original band in high school. The Alice Cooper band was signed by Frank Zappa in 1969. The band's third album, "Love It to Death," released in 1971, marked a breakthrough, followed by albums such as "Killer" and "School’s Out."

In 1975, Cooper released his first solo album, "Welcome to My Nightmare," which was accompanied by a theatrical concert tour and a television special.

Throughout his career, Cooper has released numerous albums and singles, including "Poison" from the 1989 album "Trash." He has also appeared in films and television shows such as "Wayne’s World."
