The defense attorney for a man accused of the 2021 murder of an East Liverpool man has submitted a request for a "jury view" to the court.

Two men are accused of the 2021 shooting death of 20-year-old Brycen Douglas of East Liverpool.

Douglas was killed in front of a home on Pennsylvania Avenue. Police say the shooting happened when an argument broke out on a front porch.

Allen Tisdale, 25, and Elvin Tisdale, 35, are both charged with aggravated murder and murder, both with firearm specifications. Elvin is also charged with one additional count of having weapons under disability.

According to court records, on May 12, the defense attorney for Elvin Tisdale submitted a request for a jury view to the court.

According to this request, the defense attorney wishes to have the jury taken to see the following places allegedly connected with the case:

According to the request, the co-defendant indicated that he and two others went to pick up Elvin, switched cars, returned to Ohio and headed the back way to the East End area of East Liverpool.

The purpose of the jury seeing this location is to show that the distance on the map between the home of Elvin and the location of the shooting does not reflect the alleged drive of the co-defendant and others in the car, according to the request.

According to the request, the defense attorney wishes to show the jury the Newell Bridge and Chester Bridge so they become familiar with two ways to get to the East End area of East Liverpool.

The request also indicates Kountz Avenue and Campground Road, an area the co-defendant and an alleged unindicted co-defendant are alleged to have been driving in after the shooting.

This request has been sent to the court for review.
