The funds were raised through the Alliance's annual Basket Star fundraiser, held at the Lake Club in Poland. The donation was presented to Heather Fronk, CEO of Clothed in Strength, by Medical Society Alliance President Deb Evan.

Clothed in strength continuously works to spread awareness for financial freedom for low to moderate income single mothers. Located in Poland, the organization provides a free place where single mothers can receive basic necessities like clothing, shoes, hygiene products, diapers, home goods and more. 

The Medical Alliance is a volunteer organization that has been up and running for 86 years giving volunteer physician spouses a chance to provide support for the community through health education, legislation, community service and fundraising. 

The Alliance has raised over $248,000 for local charities via an annual spring charity event.
