Local coffee shops promoting Mental Health Awareness

The Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board is partnering with 10 local coffee shops this Mental Health Awareness Month to help spread hope one cup at a time.

Each participating coffee shop is serving drinks with green coffee sleeves that has the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline number 9-8-8 on it, along with messages of encouragement for those who may be struggling.

As part of the campaign, a social media challenge has also been launched where customers can scan the QR code on the coffee sleeve for a chance to win a free coffee from their favorite shop.
