Toyota of Warren sold to Rafih Auto Group

A car dealership in Trumbull County is under new ownership.

According to a release, Toyota of Warren (2657 Niles-Cortland Road) has been sold to Rafih Auto Group through a deal brokered by The Tim Lamb Group.

The purchase of Toyota of Warren is Rafih Auto Group's first Toyota dealership in the United States and their first transaction through The Tim Lamb Group.

The company operates 27 dealerships across Canada and the United States, with a presence in the Cleveland area. Other brands under Rafih Auto Group umbrella include BMW, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lexus and Porsche.

Toyota of Warren will continue operating under its current name.

The former owners, Jim Whetstone Auto Group, will continue to manage their other dealerships in Ohio and New York.

"Our group has known Tim Lamb for almost twenty years. In fact, we purchased the first dealership Tim and his company sold back in 2007," Jim Whetstone, owner of Jim Whetstone Auto Group, said. "I can't think of another person I would trust to handle a transaction of this magnitude."
