Suspected fentanyl, crack seized during Warren drug busts

Agents with the Trumbull Action Group (TAG) Drug Task Force seized suspected narcotics, drug paraphernalia and weapons from two Warren homes on Wednesday.

According to a press release, agents conducted search warrants on Wednesday, May 14 with one taking place on the 300 Block of Spring Street and the other taking place on the 1000 Block of Commerce Avenue.

The two search warrants, which were obtained after a lengthy drug trafficking investigation, resulted in the seizure of 121 grams of suspected fentanyl, 34 grams of suspected crack cocaine, a one kilogram narcotics press, one handgun, two rifles, digital scales and about $1,900 in U.S. currency.

The release does not indicate that any arrests were made as a result of the search warrant.

The Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes Task Force, the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Warren Police Department and Howland Police Department all assisted in the search warrant.
