Two people won $20,000 each on scratch-off tickets bought in Trumbull County on Friday, May 16.
One winner bought the winning ticket at Classy Clean Carwash in Niles, while the other bought their ticket at the Lordstown Speed Check in Lordstown.
Both tickets were VIP Millions scratch-off tickets which cost $50 per ticket. The winners will be taking home 14,400 each after mandatory state and federal taxes come into effect.
According to the Ohio Lottery, the top prize for VIP Millions is $40,000 a year for 25 years and as of May 16 37 top prizes are remaining in Ohio.
