Man hurt after car and electric scooter collide in Struthers

A man is injured after being hit by a car in Struthers Friday night.

First calls for the crash went out around 11:15 p.m. for a collision between a car and electric scooter.

Police say a man was riding an electric scooter along Walton Street near the intersection with State Street.

Officers told 21 News that the man on the scooter didn't stop at the stop sign and was hit by a Jeep traveling on State Street.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
