Mahoning Valley Freedom Fighters announces 'Strike for Justice' fundraiser at West Side Bowl

The Mahoning Valley Freedom Fighters (MVFF) organization is hosting a fundraiser to support legal fees and sponsoring community events.

The organization is hosting its "Strike for Justice" event at West Side Bowl on Mahoning Avenue on Friday, May 23, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The MVFF is a grassroots organization comprised of local retirees, parents, teachers and veterans concerned about the Project 2025 agenda and its potential impact on local communities.

According to the release, the organization believes the policies being put in place target the health of vulnerable people, including children, the elderly, veterans and members of the LGBTQ community.
