Authorities evacuated homes and closed a street in Warren following a natural gas leak Monday morning.
The incident occurred just after 9 a.m. at the intersection of Summit Street and Tod Avenue SW, according to the fire department reports.
Units from the fire department were on the scene of a natural gas line that was reportedly struck. Crews were actively evacuating nearby residences as a precaution.
Fire Chief Ken Nussle tells 21 News they only evacuated three or four homes. Residents have since been allowed back to their homes.
Summit Street was closed in the vicinity of Tod Avenue SW, but has since reopened.
